This is our private collection of toys, action figures and gashapon, we're putting it online primarily so we have a visual resource available anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection. It's updated regularly with our want lists and as we aquire more figures, they are added to the record. Just a note, this page is designed to be very basic, we don't want it flashy, that detracts from the ability to get the information on hand-held devices remotely.

Secondly though, we've always thought that the action figure and toy-collecting community needed a good visual record of what's really available. It's difficult to find accurate, up-to-date lists of what's actually been released, mostly you find incomplete lists or whatever someone has for sale at the moment, even the toy manufacturers don't maintain good lists of what they've put out. While at the moment, this site is of limited usefulness, hopefully this will evolve into something that can be a resource for action figure collectors.

As such, we really need people's help in keeping the site accurate. If there's something we got wrong, let us know. If there's something we've missed, tell us. Because we've had some people express interest in exactly how we catalog and pack our figures, here's a visual representation. Unlike some collectors, we do not open or display our action figures, they remain MIB permanently. Our gashapons, however, do get displayed.

The process for moving through the collection is thus:

A purchase is made. It is photographed and entered into our palmtop database, as well as uploaded here. The collected figures are stored in a series of drawers until we have enough to fill a storage container.

Once we have the drawers filled, which is enough to fill one storage container, we will repack them, entering them into our tracking system which tells us where each individual toy is packed. Finally, we will store the interlocking containers stacked 5-high and at present, 3 deep. Currently, we have more than 30 of these containers.

Not long ago, we went through a portion of the collection to reorganize and check the database. The following images come from just 8 of the storage containers above. These are the only toys, other than those we've aquired since, that we have since captured and uploaded to this site, there's obviously a long, long way to go. The process from bringing in, emptying, sorting, photographing, repacking, reindexing and putting back in storage took more than a week so it's certainly not something I want to be doing often. This website is a long-term project, obviously.
